I am very, very excited to announce that I’m the new face of Cricut on Hochanda television! I’ll be representing the brand as an “expert” guest presenter, beginning Tuesday 20th November.
This is such a huge deal for me, I’m still pinching myself that it’s happening! I’ve been a Cricut ambassador for 18 months now, and it’s been one of the best brand collaborations I’ve ever worked on. I love the brand, I love the product, I love the people I work with. To be able to take this passion for Cricut to live television is such an exciting opportunity!
If you’re wondering what all of this means, let me back it up a little…
What is Cricut?
Cricut is an American company that manufacturers craft tools and supplies. Their flagship products are their insanely amazing cutting machines. Imagine a home printer, but instead of ink, it has a little blade to cut things with. This is huge for crafts. It allows you to cut anything from paper and card, to vinyl and felt – even balsa wood, leather and fabric.
Here’s a few links to give you a better idea:

- Personalised coffee stencils, made using the Cricut Explore Air 2
What is Hochanda?
Hochanda is the UK’s leading television channel dedicated to crafts, hobbies and arts. It’s broadcast live for 14 hours a day, and showcases brands across sewing, paper-craft, knitting, art supplies and so much more!
I’ll be joining the channel as an occasional guest presenter for Cricut. This means I’ll be demonstrating the Cricut products, teaching viewers how to use the kit and get the most from the products. Basically, I’ll get to spend a few hours making things with my Cricut machines live on TV. I really can’t wait!
When can you watch me?
My first shows are on Tuesday 20th November. You can catch me from 11am-12pm, then again from 3-4pm. Hochanda is broadcast across Freeview 85, Sky 673 and Freesat 817. You can also catch up on the shows online, if you miss them the first time.
If you’ll be watching along, drop me a comment below – I’d love to hear from you!
See you on TV (ahh!)… 🙂 – Mike.
