For this year’s Halloween party, I thought I’d do something a little different. I wanted to up my game a bit, take my traditional party to the next level… so I decided to turn it into a Halloween cocktail party! Because come on, Halloween plus cocktails is a recipe for a good night!
For my first cocktail, I’ve partnered with Pact coffee. They sent me a few bags of their newest coffee roasts – they’re SO GOOD. Seriously, you’ve never tasted coffee as fresh as this (psst, you can grab a discount code at the end of this post!). So what did I make with my coffee beans? An espresso martini, of course! After a bit of fiddling with the ratios, I came up with this recipe for perfection…
Espresso Martini recipe
- Pact coffee beans, finely ground
- Coffee liqueur (such as Tia Maria or Kahlúa)
Use an espresso machine to brew a small batch of coffee. Mix 2 parts of this espresso with 1 part vodka and 1 part coffee liqueur in a cocktail shaker. Add a few ice cubes, put the lid on and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain the mixture into a martini glass, garnish with fresh coffee beans and serve immediately.
I’m looking forward to sharing this espresso martini recipe at my Halloween party. I think it’s going to be the “show off” drink of the night, when I’m busy shaking my cocktail mixer! I’m planning on making a big batch of espresso the night before and keeping it chilled in the fridge ready for the party. I’ll be sharing the rest of my Halloween cocktail recipes soon, so make sure to follow me so you don’t miss out.
